Starrett Precision Optical

The L.S. Starrett Company are excited to announce the launch of our New UK Metrology website. We partnered up with GRO Marketing who are experts in all things digital. Starrett Metrology Systems take video-based and multi-sensor measuring systems to the next level with the unbeatable combination of precision mechanics and powerful and intuitive software. We offer three different product ranges – all designed to optimise your quality control process, including Optical comparators, vision Systems and Force and Material Measurement.

Video Systems

Our Video-based measurement systems combine high resolution images, powerful intuitive software and precision mechanical platforms. We make sure all of our products deliver excellent accuracy and repeatable measurement results for a wide range of precision measurement applications. The HVR-Flip Manual Video Measuring System is the newest addition to the video systems with a unique characteristic of being able to offer both horizontal and vertical non-contact measurement.

Optical Systems

Our optical profile projectors provide a time tested, cost effective, solution for non-contact measurement. They can be used for a wide range of dimensional inspection applications and with their hardened, industrial design, they are ideal for work of the factory floor. The HE400 Horizontal Profile Projector offers a 400mm screen, 250mm x-axis table travel, bayonet fitting lenses and Q-axis angular readout, this is all to improve capacity and performance. We fit this projector with the industry leading the new MX DRO series from Metlogix, providing a user-friendly experience when operating this machine.

Force Systems

We offer three different force measurement systems designed for full flexibility with your application. Choose from our entry level L1 software – designed to give you simple, fast and efficient product testing results, to our top of the range L3 software – optimised for advanced material testing results and analysis. Combine these with your Starrett Force Test frame to create a measurement system, optimised to your product requirements. Or, choose our Digital Force Gauges, which can be used as handhelds for basic applications or as a force sensor when used with an FMM Digital Force Tester, MTL and MTH Manual Tester.
