We also manage and operate the 21km Old Dalby Test Track. Through our services we extend asset life, and verify and validate vehicles and infrastructure. This includes both the engineered elements of the transport system and the human factors associated with passengers, staff and members of the public. We help our clients optimise the performance of their vehicle and track assets against capital and operational expenditure constraints. We advise on strategy and the implementation of best practice asset management systems and decision support tools that improve the company’s bottom line. Through our Raildata team we provide asset data management services and products. We provide assurance that our clients’ vehicles and track meet performance and safety requirements. We also investigate problems, extend asset life and reduce costs of operation, inspection and maintenance. Our vehicle engineers provide turnkey solutions for vehicle rectification and maintenance. Rolling stock testing through our Railtest team has been a core part of our business since the privatisation of the rail industry. This is supported by world class materials, non destructive testing, structural integrity, modelling, testing expertise and facilities.
