A Brief History

KA Tooling was formed in 2004 when friends and colleagues, Kien Chung (far right) and Alex Hill, (centre) shook hands and agreed to work together to produce plastic injection mould tools to the highest possible standards.

Starting with just two machine centres they quickly gained a reputation for good value, high quality tools and as the business grew they gradually gained new clients and took on new employees.

After 10 years in the centre of Leicester and with a solid customer base it was time to expand and move to new, larger premises.

The new fully equipped factory now has nine machine centres together with a Mitsubishi spark eroder in a 6,500 square foot tool room, whilst 6 iMacs run Vero Visi 3D Modelling software in the CAD CAM office is home to 3 iMacs and the first floor Design and Admin Office

We are now just 5 minutes from junction 22 of the M1 and 15 minutes from junction 13 of the M42, ideally placed for quick and easy motorway access to all parts of the UK
