HTZ is a manufacturer of automated laboratory equipment specialising in liquid handling instruments for the clinical, industrial and pharmaceutical markets. Its product range includes automated blood grouping and immunoassay systems as well as a number of bespoke products for other clinical, veterinary and food testing sectors.
HTZ has a well-established reputation for high quality instruments which are sold throughout the world via its network of distributors and also through a number of OEM partners. Its headquarters and R&D facilities are located in the UK in New Addington, Croydon.
HTZ was formed in January 2007 as a result of the management buyout of Hook & Tucker Zenyx, a company with a history going back as far as 1962 when it launched a range of surgical instruments and equipment for anaesthesia. In 1964 the first liquid handling products were released.
HTZ is therefore able to draw on a significant level of experience in providing cost-effective solutions to automate liquid handling to a variety of laboratories in the UK and around the world with approx. 80% of products being exported.
