FARO develops and markets portable 3D measurement and imaging solutions.

FARO metrology solutions for manual and automated inspection of parts and final assemblies are used for applications such as dimensional analysis, 3D inspection, CAD-to-part comparison, alignment and reverse engineering.

FARO offers a range of measurement Arms and ScanArms for tactile and non-contact measurement, as well as Laser Trackers with 6 degrees of Freedom (6DoF) capabilities for large scale metrology applications.

Technologies from FARO also help streamline production operation. The FARO TracerSI Laser Projector is used for accurate and repeatable laser-guided assembly and in-process verification, while the FARO Visual Inspect is an easy-to-use iPad verification solution for streamlining manufacturing processes. It allows intuitive viewing of complex 3D data of parts / assemblies and quick-check comparisons. Visual Inspect AR adds innovative Augmented Reality capabilities to the base package.

FARO also offers software solutions that are uniquely optimized to support the FARO portfolio of hardware solutions, ensuring maximum feature integration.

UK Technology Center Rugby

More than 870 square meters of the 1,000 square meter facility are dedicated to customer service  operations, which is intended to significantly expand FARO’s service capacity in Europe. The FARO Technology Center Rugby also hosts a wide range of training, product demonstrations and in-house exhibitions.

Certification and Calibration

To maintain the FARO Hardware and to ensure accuracy in specification, every device should be service and recertified in a FARO Service Center once a year. This ensures that the device is   installed with the latest firmware and meets accuracy specifications. With every service we issue a certificate valid for one year.

Skills Training

FARO offers product training on the correct application and interpretation of measurement results for your employees. With our hardware and software solutions, FARO offers practically oriented training courses, workshops, and application support, tailored to meet your needs. Courses are offered on all FARO products and are held in small groups.
