ESR Technology

ESR Technology is a small to medium size business which has evolved out of the former UK Atomic Energy Authority. We provide independent and specialist technical consultancy in; Safety and Risk Management, Non Destructive Testing and Tribology. Specific safety and risk management support includes fire investigation and design support. The NDT Department undertakes research and development activities and provides specialist consultancy on non destructive testing. The National Centre for Tribology (NCT) services are a blend of Tribology, Engineering, Metallurgy and Testing carrying out component failure analysis and remaining life assessments. ESR Technology services are targeted at reducing the cost of maintenance through reliability improvements and increasing service intervals without detriment to safety or operational performance. Our approach is to work proactively with clients, helping them make more informed decisions about the maintenance and design of components by providing specialist support through component failure analysis and remaining life assessments, fire investigation and NDT consultancy. Our objective is to help clients explore the inherent redundancy built into components and systems and to target improvements where they have the greatest impact.
