We have a current Machining Capacity of nineteen High Speed Machining Centres many with 5-Axis capability, the largest of these and primarily used for Aerospace and Automotive Development purposes, are two 5-Axis CMS Gantry units the largest of which has a maximum working envelope of 3.6M x 2.6M x1.2M. These machines are both located in a factory area of increased security due to the sensitive nature of the work involved and also within to this area is a dedicated Room for the confidential management and review of the projects we undertake.
Our Tool Room Division manufactures Prototype Components, Fixtures and Tooling for composite components. This department houses three of our Machining Centres, all dedicated to the ‘wet’ machining process, one of which is a 5-axis Mazak Variaxis i-700 for single set-up multi-surface milling. The Tool Room also has a comprehensive range of ancillary support equipment including an Agie Charmilles Die-Sinking EDM.
